Tell us about how long you have been a furry and when you started to realize that you were. also if there is a specific anthropomorphic animal you want to be the please tell us.
I will start i have been a furry for about 6 years. I have always knew i was but really got into it within the past three years. The anthropomorphic animal i would like to be able to change into would be a fox.

A fox? same as me :D anyhoo.. I have had the indecation of being a furry for a good..... er.... llong time.... now that I think about it ... maybe it was more then 16 years.... I remember some when I was 7 ... I wanted to be like Robin Hood (Disney) and even before that if I remember right I wanted to be animals as a kid .. but don't everyone go through that?...
anyhoo.. I wasn't sure what a furry was till you told me and I thought about it for some time.. it seems I have been one for some time and didn't even know it.. lol..
I am sure you will reconize this but its kinda what I thought I would look like as a furry.

Well, Wisefox said it right there. I didn't know I was one until you told me about furries silverfox and then I thought about it and I realize now that I have been a one for ages. I don't even remember when it started. I do know however that if I was able to turn into an animal then I would become a wolf.
A lot of times I actually act like a wolf. I will actually go outside sometimes on a full moon and sometimes even on nights where there is no moon or little light given off by the moon and I will just sit out there and howl my heart out.
My friend Jess understands me and in fact is also a furry I would say but my other friends do not understand at all and would probably laugh if they knew that I did that. I am often told that I am weird because of the fact that I just howl for no reason sometimes.
I know what you all mean too. I have had some "weird" ways of acting or thinking. I remember being hungry and always being able to find away to not only get food but to get out of trouble that I had inadvertently gotten into. I was always good at hiding. once when I was playing paint ball I was the last one to get hit not cause I was good at the game (it was my first time playing it) but because I was trying to get to the other team before they got to me I just didn't show my position well not until they told me that I had to show myself. then I got hit... I just wish I could of been abit better shot.. or didn't show myself. there is one other thing that I have ... ... acquired. It is the way I see wisdom in nature and see and understand how animals think. I also have been to the point of just letting my instinks taking over but you can't just do that you have to think not just feel. Anyhoo... never think you are weird thats just a way to say that people don't want to try and understand.
i have had a similar experience but not when paintballing. it was when i went air softing. im pretty good, i often consider my self sly like a fox, because im real good about getting to place without anyone knowing or hearing me. im also a good shooter. if you don't know what an airsoft gun is, it shoots plastic bebees instead of paintballs, well they can shoot paintballs to but its not good for the gun. i make animal noises sometimes not just howling, i sometimes say paws instead of hands den instead of house things like that.
well i know people say it when they are talking about animals, but when like i say it about myself its different. a lot of people say things like this and most of them are all furries.
ya thats what I ment... I would say "I got to get my paws on that" or "get my paws warm" also I go to my den and rest (my room) I also say things like "I got to get some food" meaning anything I can find or I also say it when I have to do some grocery shopping. I also wake up to the smallest sounds... I once woke up to someone walking with bare feet on a carpet.
I wake up to the smallest of noises too. Also the slitest change in background noises too, if I fall asleep to something and then all of a sudden it stops I will wake up.
I am kinda sneaky myself when it comes to staying in the shadows and moving undetected. I have always thought that if I was into it (which Im not) then I would be a good hunter.
Anywho, yeah, I make noises on teamspeak all the time and I think Josh thinks Wisefox and I are crazy cause I always wine or something if I die on NWN or something and its funny. I used to play pretend and act like I was some sort of animal...most of he time I was a dog or a wolf of some sort.
I am going to try to come see you both to. Eve, i am going to be going on a trip this summer, to Yellowstone and Arizona, but we may also go other places. I am going to see if i can get my parents to drive to Tennessee. Wisefox, i want to go to Canada, and my mom said she wants to go places where family has lived, so sometime i may be heading up to Canada. if not when they go if they do, i will go by myself. also if we don't go to Tennessee, i will try to go by myself sometime
I hope so, that would be so cloo to be able to meet you and everything. anywho, yes, I do live in Alcoa, it is a very small town so I will have to tell you exactly where it is some time.
