other favorite animals

Another wild animal i really like are raccoons, don't know why i just like them. I also like sankes, coral and black mombas are my favorite, two extremely venomous snakes. I have seen quite a few snakes from just regular rat snakes, and king snakes, to venomous rattle snakes which there is a lot of out at the Guadalupe Dunes. I think i have seem some raccoons but not sure. Oh yeah another animal i really is the red panda, almost looks like a fox in a way. i also like meerkats, they are really cool.

I love red pandas! I will have to agree with you there silverfox, the do really look like foxes in a way. The first time I ever saw one was at a zoo on a school trip I believe.

In any case, I really like snakes and wolves. Foxes are really cool too but i would have to say that wolves and snakes are my favorites.

I really like just about all animals but I have a huge fear of spiders....yeah, I freak out when I see one, and bees are not much better but then again, I am alergic to bee stings so I have a reason to be scared.

ah, i don't think im alergic but then again ive only been stung once when i was young, you never know. Try being stung by a huge freeky looking ant. i was stung when i went to science camp, i don't know what kind of ant it was but it was huge and it hurt. I don't like spiders either, but they don't bother me if they aren't on me.

I found out something interesting, you probably already know but the red pandas are sometimes called fire foxes. At least that is what I read recently. It surprised me, anyhoo.. I like foxes, and most other canids, but I know of some felines that are cool too. One kind was the osolot (sp) [os -OH- lot] I liked this kind of cat cause they can hang upside down like monkeys using only their back claws.
there are a lot of very interesting animals out there.

If I am not mistaken...the mountain goat (its a specific type but i forgot the name of it) has hoves that are more like that of rubber than that of a normal hove wich is similar to a nail off a finger or toe. It is supposed to help them grip the rocks and stuff, and you know what...they never come down from the mountain.

Something else that is neat is that a ducks quack doesn't echo.
